Klezmer and Eastern European party music in the Twin Cities, MN
Di Bayke (“bye-keh” meaning "Tall tale" in Yiddish) is a collective of Minneapolis-based klezmer musicians that perform and teach the traditional dance music of Eastern European Jews.
In addition to simkhes, parties, and community events, Di Bayke teaches Yiddish dance, song, and instrumental music and performs as the house band for Klezmer on Ice on frozen Lake Harriet.
